1985 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe (G-Model II)

Incredibly clean and gorgeous 1985 911 Carrera Coupe in Pastel Beige over Brown partial leather interior. This 911 came to us from a Colorado client that cared for the car since 1997 and took great pride in keeping the 911 in clean overall condition. During the previous 27 year ownership the car had been driven fewer than 1,500 miles per year and was being stored under cover in a heated garage. Shortly after acquiring the car we decided to take it to Werks Reunion 2024 in Monterey, CA for our Porsche Classic Restoration Challenge entry. To prepare the car for Monterey we performed several services to the car including a new battery, oil and filter change, draining fuel system for cleaning, brake fluid flush, new front and rear deck lid struts, installing a Porsche Classic radio, installing a new RS style steering wheel color matched to the interior, new fuel pump, new DME relay, installing 4 new tires, installing new front suspension torsion bars, new spark plus, distributor cap and rotor, new spark plug wires, new rear suspension end links, 4 wheel alignment and corner balance, replacement of engine oil lines, installing new window switches, transmission fluid service, new fog lamp housing assembly, new battery ground strap, new wipers, new fuel line, new driver door seal, replacement of front oil cooler mounts and seal, new headlight connectors and seals, new front tie-rods, and replaced all engine head studs at which time new valve guides, valves, springs, and seals were replaced along with necessary related components. Like so many seemingly small and simple restoration projects end up, we invested over $60,000 in services to ensure the 911 was represented well at Werks Reunion 2024 and is ready for its next owner. The Carrera drives very well and shows very clean with minimal blemishes to the exterior and interior finishes.
