Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with navigation module

Internal quad-band GSM telephone module with Bluetooth® connectivity for ease of use and optimum sound quality. Enables user to make calls in one of three ways: with SIM card inserted in PCM, whereby the connection is established through the external GSM antenna, via the Bluetooth® link established by means of the SIM Access Profile (SAP). Once automatic pairing of the devices is complete, the GSM antenna on the mobile phone is disabled to prolong battery life and the connection is established through the external GSM antenna (available only for mobile phones with SIM Access Profile), via Bluetooth® link by means of the Hands-free Profile (HFP). In this mode, the GSM connection is always established through the antenna of the mobile phone. Includes microphone, hands-free facility, mute function as well as access to basic phone functions, including call lists and phonebook access (depending on phone model), via PCM, the optional multifunction steering wheel or optional voice control (depending on operating mode). The Online Services option provides additional functions for your PCM via an extra smartphone app  Aha Radio  which you can download free from Apple iTunes® und google play®. Access millions of music tracks via internet radio, get the latest weather information, look for local places of interest and load the address straight into your navigation system, access your Facebook® or Twitter® page and much more, all directly from your PCM. Notes: The optional Universal Audio Interface is required for operation with an iPhone® (standard). Android® smartphone users will also need the optional mobile phone preparation or optional telephone module. The HFP function must be activated in PCM in order to use online services with the optional telephone module. Information on compatible mobile phones is available from www.porsche.com or your Porsche Centre. The scope and content of the online services can vary. The online services always require a mobile phone contract with data option and mobile phone network coverage.
