External conditions, such as temperature and charging/discharging behaviour, influence the accuracy of this calculation. The accuracy of the calculation can be increased by preparing the high-voltage battery. To do this, the high-voltage battery is discharged to a defined point and then charged to a defined point after a subsequent waiting period.
